From a student perspective and a current user of a tablet (HP TX2500), I think tablets are great especially for courses like anatomy by allowing you to comment on specific parts of the body. I’ve also used my tablet when drawing cellular mechanisms and so on (e.g. such as the synaptic terminal with receptors & ligand actions, etc). I would be happy to see another tablet on the market so that these devices become more mainstream and consequently cheaper (kind of like the netbook craze).

Tablets in Medicine
